Truck operations
One load. Every handoff.

Keep one freight load moving from dispatch board to billing.

Follow one synthetic load through assignment, the cab, tracking, paperwork, and the office handoff. Each scene shows a verified Vektor workflow with customer data redacted.

The load life

Five handoffs. One freight record.

Scroll the same synthetic load from the dispatch desk to the documents billing receives. The motion follows the work, not a decorative loop.

Load workflow progress
01Assign

Start the load on the dispatch board.

When assignments live across texts and calls, dispatch has to reconstruct who has what.

Dispatchers assign freight from the web schedule board. Load 4821 appears with its lane and moves into Assigned.

The assignment starts in the web workspace.
02Cab

Send the same assignment to the truck driver.

Copying pickup details into a text thread creates another version of the load.

The Vektor Driver app shows the assignment on iOS and Android. The truck driver can review the details, then accept or decline it.

The active assignment reaches the truck driver in the launched mobile app.
03Track

Bring status and position back to the dispatch team.

Check calls become the fallback when dispatch cannot see the truck’s current progress.

Driver status plus connected GPS or ELD position returns tracking context to the dispatch team. A tracking link can share progress outside the workspace.

The dispatch team follows the load with status and connected position context.
04Paperwork

Scan the documents before they leave the cab.

A POD in the truck for a week is paperwork the office still does not have.

The truck driver can scan BOL, POD, rate con, and lumper receipts with the phone camera and send them into the freight load record.

The documents move from the cab into the freight workflow.
05Billing

Hand the load record to billing with its documents.

Billing cannot work from paperwork it is still chasing.

The office sees the BOL, POD, rate con, and lumper receipt attached to load 4821. Billing receives documents attached to the load.

The billing handoff stays connected to the same freight load record.
