# Notes: one activity feed, and attachments you can read in place

> The notes panel is now a compact activity feed that reads top to bottom and shows every event on the record, not only the notes somebody typed. A screenshot can be pasted straight in, Cmd+Enter sends, and a photo or PDF attached to a note opens in a viewer with zoom, page thumbnails and print instead of downloading.

Notes are where a load's real history lives: who called, what the broker said, which document arrived late. That history was spread across a bulky panel that left some of the events out, and every attachment had to be downloaded before anyone could look at it.

## What changed

**The panel is a compact activity feed.** It reads top to bottom and carries every event on the record, so the story of a load or a truck can be scanned in one pass instead of reconstructed.

**A screenshot is pasted, not uploaded.** Copy an image and paste it straight into the note. Cmd+Enter sends, and the Send button stays where you left it while you type.

**Attachments open in place.** Click a photo and it opens in the image viewer, click a PDF and it opens in the same viewer the invoice preview uses, with zoom, page thumbnails, print and download. Anything that is not an image or a PDF still downloads from the chip.

Nothing to switch on. Open the notes panel on any record.
