Money Codes | Issue & Management | BETA Release

New money code functionality covers 3 most requested use cases:

• Need to issue a money code for lumper services during load lifecycle and instantly add it into invoice. When money code is issued, system automatically adds “Lumper receipt” to required documents for an order so driver is prompted to upload it, and streamline the billing.

• Issue a money code for driver as a cash advance, to deduct it from driver in upcoming settlement.

• Issue a money code to cover 3rd party services like tire repair, etc.

ACE Manifest • ACI eManifest

We are pleased to release integration with BorderConnect, the industry-leading ACE and ACI eManifest software, to seamlessly connect Vektor and border processing solutions.

This partnership is a game-changer for logistics businesses, allowing them to streamline their cross-border operations. By automating the transmission of required data, potential errors and delays at the border are significantly reduced. By linking the advanced capabilities of Vektor with the efficiency of BorderConnect, logistics businesses can enhance compliance, speed up border crossings, and improve overall operational efficiency.

Our users will be able to:

• Quickly file eManifests using BorderConnect’s ACE and ACI services, ensuring full compliance with both U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) regulations.

• Avoid redundant data entry between the Vektor and BorderConnect systems, as Vektor performs data validation before sending information to BorderConnect.

• Stay informed with real-time manifest updates, providing immediate awareness of shipment clearance status.

• These integrated features enhance the efficiency of creating and managing cross-border trips, ultimately reducing the time and costs associated with ACE/ACI processes.

• Enhanced Debit Category Linking 

Debit categories can now be linked not only to QuickBooks Expense Accounts but also to Revenue Accounts, providing more flexibility in managing financial categories between systems.

• Invoice Synchronization

Improved synchronization with QuickBooks to ensure invoice status and data are up to date. Synchronization occurs automatically every 2 hours or can be triggered manually. After each sync:

1. The status remains unchanged if the balance equals the total amount.

2. The status is set to "Need Review" if the balance does not match the total amount.

3. The invoice status is marked as "Paid" if the balance equals zero.

• Invoice Deletion or Cancellation

If an invoice is voided or deleted in QuickBooks, the corresponding invoice in Vektor will also be voided or deleted, ensuring consistency across both systems.

• New Customer Creation Feature

Added the ability to create a QuickBooks Customer directly from the Vektor platform if the broker or customer still needs to be linked. This eliminates the need to manually create the customer in QuickBooks before generating an invoice.

• Bug Fixes

Resolved minor issues related to disconnections between QuickBooks and Vektor.
