How does carrier matching and scoring work in digital freight matching?

Each carrier is scored on on-time percentage (OTP), FMCSA safety rating, insurance status, payment history, and lane experience. The AI ranks offers by composite score so the best-fit carrier floats to the top automatically.

Do offers expire automatically?

Yes. You set configurable expiration windows per load or globally. When an offer expires, the carrier is notified and the load re-enters the marketplace queue. No stale offers cluttering your view.

How does the margin calculation work with digital freight matching?

The system pulls your customer rate automatically and calculates gross margin against every carrier offer in real time. Color-coded thresholds (green above 15%, yellow 10-15%, red below 10%) make it impossible to miss a bad deal.

Can I counter-offer a carrier directly?

Yes. One click opens a counter-offer panel where you can propose a new rate. The carrier receives the counter instantly in their app or via email, and their response flows back into your queue.
