SMS Terms and Conditions

1. About This Messaging Program

1.1. This page describes the text messaging program operated by Veido LLC, doing business as Vektor TMS ("Vektor TMS", "we", or "us"), for our transportation management software at app.vektortms.com.

1.2. Who sends the messages. Vektor TMS sends them. Messages come from Vektor TMS and identify us by name.

1.3. Who receives the messages. Only people who hold a Vektor TMS account and who have added their own mobile number to that account for identity verification. We do not text people who are not Vektor TMS account holders, and we do not buy, rent, or import phone number lists.

1.4. Why we send them. To confirm that the person signing in or changing a sensitive account setting is really the account holder. The messages carry a one-time passcode used to complete that verification step.

1.5. This is an account security program. It is not a marketing program. We do not send promotional or advertising text messages through it.

2. How You Join

2.1. You join by entering your mobile number in the Vektor TMS application and enabling phone verification on your account. At that point you agree to receive automated account verification text messages from Vektor TMS at the number you provided.

2.2. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase and is not required to use Vektor TMS. Other account security methods remain available.

2.3. Provide only a mobile number you control. If your number changes or is reassigned, update it in your account settings so verification codes are not sent to someone else.

3. What We Send and How Often

3.1. Message types. One-time passcodes for signing in and for verifying sensitive account changes, plus the confirmation message you receive when you reply STOP or HELP.

3.2. Message frequency. Frequency varies and depends entirely on your own activity. A message is sent only when a verification code is requested for your account. We do not send messages on a recurring schedule.

3.3. Sample message. "Vektor TMS: your verification code is 123456. It expires in 10 minutes. Do not share this code. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help."

4. Cost

4.1. Message and data rates may apply. Vektor TMS does not charge for these messages, but your mobile carrier may charge you for sending or receiving them under your plan. Contact your carrier for details about your plan.

4.2. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

4.3. Delivery depends on your carrier and your device, and is not guaranteed. Do not rely on a text message as the only way to reach your account. Keep a second verification method available.

5. Stopping Messages and Getting Help

5.1. To stop messages, reply STOP to any message you receive from us. You will get a single confirmation message, and then we will not send you any further texts through this program.

5.2. To get help, reply HELP to any message you receive from us, email support@vektortms.com, or call +1-877-779-1870.

5.3. To start receiving messages again after opting out, re-enable phone verification in your Vektor TMS account settings.

5.4. Opting out of text messages means we cannot verify your identity by phone. You can still sign in using the other account security methods available to you.

6. Privacy

6.1. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors who provide support services, such as customer support platforms and messaging delivery providers, is permitted solely so that we can deliver the messages you asked for.

6.2. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.

6.3. How we handle the rest of your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. Section 7 of that policy covers SMS and mobile information specifically.

7. Changes to These Terms

7.1. We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the verification program after an update means you accept the updated terms.
