What is a Vektor website for a brokerage?
A website on your own domain, written and built by Vektor. You can buy it without Vektor TMS. Connected features such as load tracking and the customer portal need Vektor TMS; carrier setup, quote requests and agent applications work without it.
Will my site show up on Google and in AI answers?
We build every site for it: fast pages on Cloudflare, a clean structure with the structured data search engines read, and clear answers about your business, services and region that ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews can find and cite. No one can promise a ranking, but your site starts with everything search and AI engines look for. Blog and social content can be added by agreement.
How much does it cost?
It is $1,989 to launch, then $149 a month for website maintenance: hosting on Cloudflare, domain, your changes and support. You pay 50% to start and the rest when you approve the site. Pay a year of maintenance upfront and you get two months free: $1,490 a year instead of $1,788. The extras are optional and priced on their own.
How do my shippers track a load?
They type the load number on your site and see the status and roughly where the freight is. With the delivery ZIP, they also see the ETA, the stop times and the documents you choose to share. The location comes from the carrier on the load: its ELD, the driver app or the tracking link it gets from you.
How do my shippers get into the customer portal?
From the tracking page. After a shipper tracks a load on your site, the page offers to open your Vektor customer portal on your own domain, with your logo and colors, or to ask for access. You approve each request. In the portal, shippers see their loads, documents and invoices and can send you new orders.
Does the quote form book a load?
No. A quote request goes to your sales inbox with the mode, the lane, the dates and the contact. Your team prices it. Nothing is created in Vektor until your team does it.
Can quote requests go straight into our CRM?
On request. At launch, quote requests reach your sales inbox with the mode, the lane, the dates and the contact. If you want them in a CRM such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive or Zoho too, we confirm the connection with you during setup.
How do carriers set up with us?
Your Become a carrier page lists your requirements and opens the carrier onboarding you already use, such as MyCarrierPackets or Highway.
Why put a fraud notice on the site?
Scammers pose as brokers to take loads and money from carriers. The notice names your real email domain and phone number and says you never ask a carrier to pay to haul a load, so a carrier can check before it trusts a message.
Do you build an agent program page?
Yes. It explains your split, settlements and back office in your own words, with an application form. We publish splits and terms only when you give them to us.
Will the site show our loads to carriers?
No. Your site has no public list of loads. Carriers find your requirements and your setup page, and your team works loads with them as it does today.
We already have a website and a domain. Can we keep them?
Keep your domain. We build the new site on it and set up the DNS, your tracking address and your customer portal address for you.
Who do we talk to after launch?
Our team, in a shared Slack channel with yours. Email works too. Changes go live within 48 hours, and we look after your SSL and domain renewal.
