Your dispatchers already fill in custom fields on orders: whether the order needs tarps, the seal number, who unloads it. Drivers now see those details in the driver app, on the manifest itself, instead of hunting for them in the notes or calling the office.
What you need
- The latest version of the driver app. Ask drivers to update it.
- One or more custom fields on orders, for example Tarps required (a checkbox), Seal number (text) or Unload type (a list with No touch, Driver assist and Lumper).
Set it up
1. Choose which fields drivers see. Open Settings > Custom Fields, click Add (or open an order field you already have) and tick Show in Driver App. The checkbox appears only for fields on orders.

2. Choose which drivers see them. Open Settings > Driver Types, edit a type and turn on View Custom Fields under Orders and manifests. Do this for every type that should see the fields.

Both switches are needed. Fields without Show in Driver App stay in the office, and drivers whose type does not have View Custom Fields see none of them.
What the driver sees
Each manifest in the driver app shows the custom fields of its order: on the manifest card in Trips and at the top of the manifest when the driver opens it. A checkbox always shows Yes or No. Other fields appear only when they are filled in on the order.
