Fuel is one of the largest costs a fleet carries, and the questions about it rarely change: which card spent what, where the trucks fill up, and whether the price was fair. The Fuel section under Accounting now answers each of them on a page of its own.
Fuel cards
Every card in one list. The Cards tab shows all of your fuel cards, however many you have, with pages at the bottom of the list. Filter by Active, Inactive or Damaged, or search by card number. Each row shows the provider and what the card has spent this month.
Open a card to see how it is used. The Overview tab shows the card's latest fills, a spend trend, the total, the average per fill and the stations it uses most, in your company currency and for any date range you pick. The Transactions tab lists every fill on the card with its driver, truck and location. The selected card stays in the page address, so a reload or a shared link opens the same card, and the up and down arrow keys move through the list.
Transactions

Totals for the period, right above the table. The Transactions tab opens with the number of fills, gallons, total spend, average price per gallon after discounts and the discount you received for the dates you choose. Total spend and average price are compared with the previous period, so a jump stands out straight away. The table itself stays quick even with hundreds of fills on the page.
Work on many fills at once. Tick the fills you need and a bar appears at the bottom of the table: assign or unassign a truck, include or exclude the fills from IFTA, or delete them. Fills that are already on a settlement keep their truck.
Period totals above the table, and bulk actions for the selected fills.
Find what still needs attention. The Truck filter has a No truck option, so fills waiting for a truck are one click away. Turn on Deleted only to review deleted fills and restore any of them.
Analytics
A new page for where the fuel money goes. Analytics shows fuel spend, gallons, average price per gallon and the number of fills for the period you choose. Charts follow spend and price per gallon by week or by day, with each week set against the same week of the previous period. Below them, spend is broken down by fuel chain, with the average price paid at each one, and by truck, so the most expensive stations and trucks are easy to spot.
How to use it

Open Accounting > Fuel and switch between Transactions, Cards and Analytics at the top of the page. The period you pick on Analytics is saved in the page address, so you can bookmark it or send the link to a colleague.
