Drivers need money codes on the road: a lumper at the dock, a cash advance, a repair. When a driver asks for one from the mobile app, the request now comes to the dashboard, and the office answers it from a queue with everything the decision needs on one card.
The Requests tab
Open Money Codes > Requests. Pending approval lists what still waits for a decision, with its count, and All shows every request and how it ended. Each row says who is asking, how much, the category and how long ago.
Click a request, or move through the queue with the J and K keys, to open its card: the driver and their truck, the driver's note, the load and its customer when the request came from a load, the driver's open settlement, and the driver's latest codes and requests. A badge on Money Codes in the sidebar shows how many requests are waiting.
Who pays
Approving starts with one choice: who pays the code back.
- Customer: the code goes on the order's invoice as a line. Only a request made from a load can be billed to that load's customer.
- Driver: the code is deducted from the driver's pay. Fill in the deduction, and the card previews the driver's settlement with it.
- Company: no charge to anyone, and the settlement stays as it is.
The card suggests a payer from the category: a lumper asked from a load starts on the customer, a cash advance on the driver. For other categories you pick one, and Approve stays off until you do. The bar at the bottom of the card says what approving will do before you press it, and Reject asks for a reason.
How to use it
Requests are on the Requests tab of Money Codes. Approving and rejecting needs the Approve Money Code Requests permission.
